Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in live sales, auctioneering, retail, broadcasting, social media content, or customer engagement preferred.
• Ability to learn MS Office and the Whatnot site.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable on camera for extended periods.
• Strong ability to engage audiences in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of online selling platforms and live-stream tech preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Host two Whatnot live-stream shows per week, ~2 hours each.
• Curate and produce inventory listings for themed shows.
• Maintain high-quality listings with accurate representations.
• Present products on camera, describe features and flaws.
• Adapt between front and behind the camera as needed.
• Engage with viewers' chat in a friendly, professional manner.

Join Goodwill's E-Commerce team as an E-Commerce Live-Streaming Auction Associate and help bring exciting online auctions to life on the Whatnot platform.

In this role, you'll host live-streaming sales events, showcase unique merchandise, interact with online customers in real time, and help drive sales through engaging product presentations. You'll also assist with preparing inventory, creating listings, packaging orders, and supporting the overall success of our growing e-commerce operation.

Position Type: Part-time Tuesday and Thursday 8-4:30pm and Wednesday and Friday 12-4:30pm

Wages: $19.21 Hourly

Responsibilities:

• Host two Whatnot live-stream shows per week, approximately two hours per show.
• Curate and produce inventory listings for a variety of themed shows, including purses, clothing, toys, collectibles, and more.
• Maintain high level of care in producing inventory listings to ensure quality and accurate representation.
• Present products on camera during shows, showing and describing features, flaws, and customer-requested information.
• Depending on product type, present from behind the camera or in front of the camera in order to show items most effectively.
• Engage in friendly and professional verbal conversation in response to chat messages sent by viewers.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Previous experience in live sales, auctioneering, retail sales, broadcasting, social media content creation, or customer engagement preferred.
• Ability to learn basic computer skills using MS Office and the Whatnot website.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable performing live on camera for extended periods.
• Strong ability to engage and influence audiences in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of online selling platforms, social commerce, and live-stream technology is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
