Job summary

The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium is seeking a part-time E-commerce/Inventory Supervisor to oversee weekly online store order fulfillment and assist with inventory maintenance for online and retail locations. The role supports the Merchandise Crew and guests, reporting to the Director of Retail Operations.

Ideal candidates will have retail and/or e-commerce experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task and delegate in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the fleet insurance carrier.
• Retail experience required; E-commerce/online order fulfillment, inventory control, and supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to learn and execute a concept, multi-task and delegate.
• Must have the physical ability to lift 35 pounds, work on your feet, and walk the Zoo grounds for several hours.
• Must be able to go up and down movable, locked ladders.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, Monday–Sunday, including holidays.
• Counterpoint Register System experience is a plus.
• The Toledo Zoo is a drug-free workplace.

This role is responsible for overseeing and executing accurate, weekly online store order fulfillment. In addition, they will assist with inventory maintenance (online store & retail store locations) and ensure online inventory levels are adequate and accurate. The ideal candidate will promote a positive environment while supporting the Merchandise Crew team and guests.

This position reports to the Director of Retail Operations and is part- time, non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Minimum Training & Qualifications:

• Must be 18+ years of age

• Must have a valid drivers' license and be insurable by the fleet insurance carrier.
