Job summary

Porsche Design of America is seeking an E-Commerce Intern to support the E-Commerce team within the Porsche Lifestyle Group. You will collaborate with teams in Germany and locally to optimize online products and sales, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

The role covers affiliate programs, performance marketing, paid search, social shopping, orders, and site enhancements, emphasizing execution and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant education or experience in e-commerce or related field within retail/apparel/luxury.
• Good understanding of consumer trends and lifestyle pop culture.
• People oriented, team player with cross-channel collaboration.
• Preferably internship/work experience in e-commerce.
• Creative and strategic with strong executional abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily online orders processing and customer service as needed.
• Support Friends & Family Sale activities including online marketing reach, product uploads, QA and order handling.
• Maintain Performance marketing roadmap and collaborate with agencies on enhancements and optimizations.
• Assist Paid Search activities (Google/Bing), shopping feeds, geo-targeting and ad extensions.
• Support Affiliate Program: publisher review, commission validation, new publisher opportunities.
• Collaborate on Salecycle/cart abandonment programs and QA site enhancement tickets with developers.

Position Overview

The E-Commerce Intern is responsible for assisting the E-Commerce team in general project management tasks for the Porsche Lifestyle Group. You may collaborate with the e-commerce team in Germany and the local e-commerce team to ensure an exceptional customer experience and optimizing online products and sales.

Position Overview

The E-Commerce Intern is responsible for assisting the E-Commerce team in general project management tasks for the Porsche Lifestyle Group. You may collaborate with the e-commerce team in Germany and the local e-commerce team to ensure an exceptional customer experience and optimizing online products and sales.

The hourly range for this role is $19/hr-$21/hr.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Affiliate Program: publisher review, commission validation, new publisher opportunities
• Maintain Performance marketing roadmap as business needs change
• Work with Performance marketing agencies on new enhancements, bug fixes and optimizations
• Paid Search: assistance with current and on-going paid search activities on Google and Bing (shopping feeds, ad extension review, geo-targeting)
• Social Shopping

Online Site Enhancements Assistance

• Salecycle – Cart Abandonment email program
• Working with TWT (developers) on current and future sprint releases, QA site enhancement tickets

Online Order Handling

• Assist with processing daily online orders
• Customer service when needed

Friends And Family

• Assist and be part of Friends & Family Sale activities including online marketing reach, product upload, QA and order handling

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, Online Retail or Business Administration

Work Experience

• Minimum 2 years of comprehensive relevant education, and or, experience in e-commerce or related field within the retail/apparel/luxury industry.
• Good understanding of consumer trends and lifestyle pop culture.
• People oriented, team player that can build strong partnerships across all channels.
• Preferably previous internship/work experience in e-commerce
• Creative and strategic minded with strong executional abilities and a can-do attitude.
• Ability to solve advanced problems and trouble-shoot complex issues.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Excellent IT user skills, including Outlook, MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Independent work style, self-starter, extremely organized and structured
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Easily adapts to changing scenarios
• Ability to work with a wide range of colleagues and internal/external partners.
• German language – a plus but not required.

Principal Working Relationships

• Reports to the Porsche Design of America Head of E-Commerce.

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
