Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Ability to read shelf tags.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive and assemble online orders; store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Initiate and complete selection process for customers’ online orders.
• Read and follow directions given in the note section.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen.
• Communicate with customers via a portable phone and respond professionally.
• Load orders into customers’ cars at pickup.
• Process orders through the POS system.
• Handle substitutions for out-of-stock items according to policy.
• Bag and scan orders; maintain bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions at pickup.
• Maintain organization in staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies to e-Commerce supervisor.
