Job Overview

As a family-owned company with over a century of expertise in crafting specialty coffee, gourmet nuts, trail mixes, and snacks, we are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented E-Commerce Fulfillment Associate to join our team.

The E-Commerce Fulfillment Associate plays an important role in delivering an exceptional Ferris customer experience by accurately preparing and shipping direct-to-consumer orders. This position supports daily fulfillment operations, assists with QVC and other special-order fulfillment, helps assemble corporate gifting programs, and provides support for basic E-Commerce and retail operations. Working closely with the E-Commerce team, this role helps ensure every order is accurate, beautifully presented, and delivered on time while reflecting Ferris' commitment to quality.

This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys organization, efficiency, working with their hands, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

E-Commerce Fulfillment

• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products and packaging meets Ferris Standards.
• Prepare shipments by labeling, organizing, staging, and coordinating carrier pickups.
• Support customer pickup orders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fulfillment workspace.
• Validate orders in Odoo and communicate any issues to the Sales & E-Commerce Team.

Corporate Gifting & Seasonal Fulfillment

• Assist with assembling, packaging, and preparing corporate gift orders and seasonal fulfillment projects.
• Help organize materials, staging areas, and timelines for large-volume orders.
• Ensure gift orders are completed accurately and presented to Ferris quality standards.

QVC & Special Fulfillment Support

• Support fulfillment activities for QVC and other large customers or partner orders.
• Work with Production, Quality, and other departments to help meet shipping deadlines and quality expectations.

E-Commerce & Retail Team Support

• Assist with Shopify support, including order review, returns, and fulfillment workflows.
• Support retail operations during busy seasons and special events as needed.
• Receive, stock, and organize products and fulfillment materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or replenishment needs.
• Report order discrepancies, damaged products, or quality concerns to the appropriate team member.

Key Qualifications

• Experience in fulfillment, warehouse, retail, e-commerce, or operations preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems, Odoo preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality of work.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak seasons.
• Positive team mindset with willingness to help where needed.
• Comfort working with technology (Shopify experience is a plus).
• Ability to lift and move boxes (typically between 25-50 lbs.)

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The role of E-Commerce Fulfillment Associate works primarily within a warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the individual is frequently required to be standing and moving their body for extended periods of time. The employee is required to talk, hear, and listen, and to use hands to feel, type, and handle materials. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as utilizing and viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, and operating in a fast-paced retail environment. Regular attendance is an essential function of this job. This position involves exposure to potential allergens.
