Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a technical lead for e-commerce front-end development to shape architecture, performance, and team delivery.

You will lead Next.js-based web projects, mentor front-end engineers, enforce coding standards, collaborate with UI/UX, QA, and product managers, and ensure WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility while optimizing Core Web Vitals.

This remote role is based in the United States with a salary range of $120,000–$140,000 USD, offering opportunities to influence e-commerce strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with extensive front-end experience.
• 8+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Experience leading or mentoring front-end teams.
• Experience with GraphQL or headless CMS solutions.
• Proven ability to implement and analyze A/B tests for web apps.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA and Core Web Vitals.
• Experience with deployment platforms like Vercel or Netlify.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma and Agile methodologies.
• Awareness of AI-assisted development tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• As the technical lead for e-commerce front-end, oversee architecture and team performance.
• Design, develop, and maintain efficient front-end solutions using Next.js.
• Lead front-end delivery across web properties, focusing on the main site.
• Collaborate with UI/UX, back-end, QA, and product managers to deliver cohesive UIs.
• Mentor front-end developers and organize trainings on Next.js and best practices.
• Establish coding standards, review processes, and maintain high-quality code.
• Use GraphQL to fetch and manipulate data from composable platforms.
• Ensure WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility and optimize Core Web Vitals.
• Monitor industry trends to improve architecture and delivery quality.
• Contribute to planning, resource allocation, and sprint reviews.
• Implement and analyze A/B tests to drive data-informed optimizations.
