ORIANE 1986 is seeking an experienced, highly organized Operations Manager to oversee and support the day-to-day operational functions of the brand. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in fashion operations who is highly detail-oriented, solutions-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The Operations Manager will play a central role in ensuring the smooth flow of product and information across our ERP system, warehouse, inventory, wholesale partners, direct-to-consumer operations, and seasonal markets. The ideal candidate has significant hands-on ERP experience and a strong understanding of inventory, fulfillment, logistics, and wholesale operations within the fashion or luxury industry.

Key Responsibilities
ERP & Inventory Management
  • Own and maintain the brand's ERP system, ensuring product, inventory, order, and customer information remains accurate and up to date.
  • Zedonk experience preferred but not required
  • Manage inventory across warehouse, wholesale, DTC, showroom, samples, and other stock locations.
  • Monitor inventory movements, transfers, adjustments, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate product and SKU information across seasons and collections.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and investigate discrepancies.
  • Support seasonal inventory planning, receiving, and stock allocation.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records across current and past seasons.
Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the brand's third-party warehouse and fulfillment partners.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound shipments and ensure orders are processed accurately and on schedule.
  • Coordinate receiving of finished goods and ensure inventory is properly entered and reconciled within the ERP.
  • Troubleshoot fulfillment, inventory, shipping, and warehouse discrepancies.
  • Monitor warehouse performance and proactively resolve operational issues.
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipping and work with carriers and logistics partners as needed.
Wholesale Operations
  • Support wholesale operations from order entry through fulfillment and delivery.
  • Own product uploads and management for wholesale partners
  • Enter and maintain wholesale orders within the ERP.
  • Coordinate with wholesale partners, sales, warehouse teams, and logistics providers to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
  • Manage shipping documentation, packing slips, routing requirements, and retailer-specific compliance.
  • Track wholesale shipments and resolve shortages, discrepancies, returns, and delivery issues.
  • Support invoicing and maintain accurate order and fulfillment records.
  • Ensure wholesale partners' operational and shipping requirements are followed.
DTC Operations & Customer Service
  • Support the operational side of direct-to-consumer order fulfillment, returns, exchanges, and inventory.
  • Monitor customer orders and coordinate with the warehouse to resolve fulfillment or delivery issues.
  • Manage customer service inquiries related to orders, shipping, returns, exchanges, product availability, and other operational matters.
  • Coordinate returns and exchanges and ensure inventory and ERP records are accurately updated.
  • Deliver thoughtful, responsive customer service consistent with a luxury brand experience.
Market & Showroom Logistics
  • Coordinate operational logistics for seasonal markets, Fashion Week, and showroom appointments.
  • Organize the movement of collections, samples, racks, supplies, and other materials to and from showroom locations.
  • Coordinate shipping, couriers, deliveries, pickups, and storage surrounding market.
  • Maintain accurate sample and showroom inventory before, during, and after market.
  • Assist with showroom setup and breakdown and ensure all necessary operational materials are prepared.
  • Support the team with additional logistical needs during high-volume market periods.
General Operations
  • Maintain organized operational processes, documentation, and reporting.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement processes that improve accuracy, organization, and workflow.
  • Coordinate across internal teams and external partners to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day operational issues and take ownership of seeing them through to resolution.
  • Support additional operational projects as the business grows.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, inventory management, logistics, wholesale operations, or a related role, preferably within fashion, luxury, apparel, or a similarly product-driven business.
  • Strong hands-on ERP experience is required. Candidates should be comfortable managing inventory, orders, products, SKUs, customers, and reporting within an ERP system.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations, fulfillment, and logistics.
  • Experience supporting wholesale accounts and working with retailer shipping and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing DTC order fulfillment, returns, exchanges, and customer service.
  • Experience working directly with third-party warehouses, fulfillment centers, carriers, and logistics providers.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data and inventory accuracy.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and external partners simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands, on environment where responsibilities may evolve as the business grows.
  • Experience within a growing or emerging fashion brand is a plus.
