Job summary

American Trim is seeking an E-Coat Line Operator to support heavy-truck bumper and grille coating operations. The role involves loading parts on a conveyor, unloading finished items, monitoring processes and performing quality checks to meet specifications.

The position is 1st shift, with overtime as needed. Base pay starts at $16.35 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits, and on‑the‑job training to build manufacturing skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or coating helpful but not required.
• Ability to work safely in a production environment.
• Capacity to understand work instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load heavy-truck bumpers, grilles and parts onto the conveyor line using lifting techniques.
• Unload finished parts and prevent damage during handling.
• Read and follow process sheets, work instructions and SOPs.
• Support setup and operation of E-Coat process equipment.
• Perform thickness readings, adhesion checks and other quality inspections.
• Record quality data and monitor the process for adjustments.
• Communicate issues to supervision and support staff.
• Follow safety, PPE and environmental requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and perform other duties as assigned.
