Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking an experienced electrical technician for field operations at our Texas facilities. You will troubleshoot, install, repair, and operate mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment, while ensuring safety and reliability.

You will manage callouts, assist PLC programming personnel, and coordinate with project managers and contractors on new construction projects. Ideal candidates possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a Journeyman electrician

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman electrician certification preferred.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Understand troubleshooting guidelines for PLC, control valves, and PLC logic.
• Maintain knowledge of installation, operation, and repair of assigned equipment.
• Manage inventory of electrical supplies and repair parts for emergencies.
• Oversee electrical contractors and supervise contractors on projects.
• Troubleshoot and schedule electrical maintenance at the location.
• Work with project managers, engineering and contractors on new construction projects.
