Job Responsibilities
- Contribute to the end‑to‑end post‑order execution from PO placement to delivery and close‑out.
- Foster supplier performance in terms of schedule, quality, and cost.
- Champion proactive risk mitigation and claims support.
- Review PO scope, milestones, and contractual obligations.
- Support supplier kick‑off meetings and establish detailed execution schedules.
- Discover risks in early phase – early detection of delays.
- Monitor engineering, procurement, and fabrication progress.
- Conduct desk and shop expediting.
- Validate supplier progress versus actual.
- Coordinate recovery plans for delays.
- Monitor vendor documentation, support timely approvals, resolve comments and avoid delays.
- Monitor final dossier completion.
- Coordinate inspection plans, nurture relationships with inspectors, support NCRs and ensure closure with vendor and SQC teams.
- Help ensure readiness for shipment release.
- Validate shipment readiness, coordinate packing and documentation; support Logistics to coordinate with vendor, interface with freight forwarders and monitor shipments to site.
- Support contractual compliance, discover deviations and delays, support back‑charge and LD cases, maintain documentation for claims.
- Monitor Order Management & Expediting budget, analyze cost impacts, support recovery strategies, share financial performance updates.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports, highlight risks and delays, participate in project reviews.
- Support complete documentation for order close‑out, resolve NCRs and punch points, support SAP closure.
- Cultivate supplier relationships, demonstrate risk awareness and mitigation, insightful problem‑solving, collaborative communication and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent required. Discipline: gas industry, mechanics, chemical, supply chain management.
- 7+ years of experience.
- Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non‑immigrant visa sponsorship.
- Experience in an international EPC company or in manufacturing or construction management, especially in the field of supplier management or project management with knowledge of international standards and regulations (e.g. Incoterms and basic commercial knowledge to claims and warranties).
- Ability to read and interpret vendor manufacturing schedule, progress reports and basic drawings.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes, manufacturing procedures and processes.
- Knowledge of vendor engineering and document approval processes.
- Strong experience in workshop audits and vendor qualification process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior industrial gas experience.
