Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience with 2-3 years in renewable generation projects.
• Experience with utilities, EPC contractors, or engineering/design firms in renewable energy.
• Knowledge of NCRs, RFIs, and contract scope.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with ProjectWise, MS Office, Bluebeam, Procore; SAP a plus.
• PE license or EIT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering expertise with focus on reviewing drawings and submittals.
• Manage RFIs across multiple renewable energy projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to address submittals and RFIs.
• Review drawings, studies, calculations, and analyses for compliance with specs and standards.
• Identify variances from spec, coordinate internal approvals.
• Support construction by serving as technical resource for field personnel.
• Interpret drawings to ensure installation aligns with designs.
• Review, resolve, and manage RFIs, NCRs, and other issues during execution.
• Monitor construction compliance with designs, contract requirements, and specs.
• Work with project engineers across all project phases from planning to commissioning.

• Provide electrical engineering expertise with a primary focus on reviewing project drawings, evaluating technical submittals, and managing Requests for Information (RFIs) across multiple renewable energy projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and appropriately addressed through submittals and RFIs.
• Review and evaluate engineering drawings, studies, calculations, and technical analyses to verify compliance with project specifications, design requirements, and industry standards.
• Identify and communicate variances from company master specifications and coordinate internal approvals with the appropriate engineering teams.
• Support construction activities by serving as a technical resource for field personnel, answering electrical engineering questions, clarifying design intent, and assisting with troubleshooting efforts.
• Interpret engineering and construction drawings to ensure installation activities align with approved project designs and specifications.
• Review, resolve, and manage RFIs, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and other technical issues that arise during project execution.
• Monitor construction compliance with engineering designs, contract requirements, and project specifications.
• Work closely with project engineers and cross-functional teams throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning and design review through construction and commissioning support.
• Provide both office-based engineering review and field-based construction support as project needs require.

Requirements of the E&C Engineer:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience with 2-3 years specifically in the renewable generation project space (construction or engineering design).
• Previous experience working with utilities, EPC contractors, or engineering/design firms supporting renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of or familiarity with NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), RFIs (Requests for Information), and the ability to understand, interpret, and manage contract scope.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with ProjectWise, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Procore preferred.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or an Engineers-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
