One Tech Engineering seeks an experienced E&C Engineer to oversee wind project civil work near Earth, Texas. You will review drawings, manage RFIs, evaluate submittals, and provide field support to ensure construction aligns with approved designs.

Candidates should have 9+ years in civil engineering, with 5–7 years in renewable generation, and a PE or EIT is preferred. US citizenship or green card is required; familiarity with NCRs, RFIs, ProjectWise, Procore, Bluebeam, SAP is a plus.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 9+ years of civil engineering experience with 5-7 years specifically in the renewable generation project space (construction or engineering design).
• Experience working with utilities, EPC contractors, or engineering/design firms supporting renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of NCRs, RFIs, and understanding contract scope.
• Strong written and verbal communication; PE license or EIT preferred.

One Tech Engineering is searching for an E&C Engineer for a position located near Earth, Texas. The E&C Engineer will be overseeing and contributing to large-scale wind projects.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 9+ years of civil engineering experience with 5-7 years specifically in renewable generation.

• Provide civil engineering expertise across multiple projects, with a focus on reviewing project drawings and managing Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Evaluate engineering submittals, including drawings, studies, calculations, and technical analyses, to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders to clarify project requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Review and interpret design drawings to ensure construction activities align with approved engineering designs.
• Identify and communicate variances from company master specifications and coordinate internal approvals as required.
• Manage and resolve RFIs, non-conformance requests, and other construction-related technical inquiries.
• Provide technical support during construction by answering civil engineering questions and clarifying design intent.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving civil engineering issues that arise in the field.
• Monitor construction activities to verify compliance with design drawings, project standards, and engineering requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support project planning, design review, and construction execution.
• Support quality assurance efforts by ensuring technical documentation and construction practices meet established standards.
• Participate in project reviews, inspections, and field visits as needed to support successful project delivery.

Requirements of the E&C Engineer:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 9+ years of civil engineering experience with 5-7 years specifically in the renewable generation project space (construction or engineering design).
• Previous experience working with utilities, EPC contractors, or engineering/design firms supporting renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of or familiarity with NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), RFIs (Requests for Information), and the ability to understand, interpret, and manage contract scope.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with ProjectWise, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Procore preferred.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or an Engineers-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
