Job summary

Whizz is seeking experienced Bike Mechanics to join our Brooklyn/Manhattan workshop and maintain our growing e-bike fleet for delivery riders. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with a clear career path and opportunities for salary growth and leadership roles.

Assemble new e-bikes, diagnose mechanical or electrical issues, perform routine maintenance, and complete express fixes for drivers. You must be able to lift heavy objects, communicate well, and bring problem‑solving skills.

• Proven experience as a Bicycle Mechanic with electric bikes
• Experience assembling e-bikes
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Good communication and attention to detail
• Proven problem-solving abilities and reliability

Responsibilities:

• Assemble new e-bikes with precision in our workshop environment
• Diagnose and fix mechanical or electrical issues on the bikes, ensuring optimal performance of our e-bike fleet.
• Maintain our bike fleet through systematic inspections and routine maintenance.
• Perform express bike repairs, prioritizing timely solutions for our delivery drivers.

• Proven experience as a Bicycle Mechanic, with electric bicycles, including assembly and maintenance.

• Availability on weekdays and weekends.
