Job summary

Whizz is seeking experienced Bike Mechanics in Union Square, Manhattan, NY to assemble, diagnose, and maintain our e-bike fleet. You will support delivery riders with timely repairs and ensure high performance across the fleet.

The role requires proven bicycle mechanic experience, ability to lift heavy objects, and availability on weekdays and weekends. Training provided, PTO offered, and KPI bonuses are included.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bicycle Mechanic with electric bicycles.
• Experience with assembly and maintenance of bikes.
• Bicycle Mechanic certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Available on weekdays and weekends.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble new e-bikes with precision in our workshop environment

• Diagnose and fix mechanical or electrical issues on the bikes, ensuring optimal performance of our e-bike fleet.

• Maintain our bike fleet through systematic inspections and routine maintenance.

• Perform express bike repairs, prioritizing timely solutions for our delivery drivers.

• Proven experience as a Bicycle Mechanic, with electric bicycles, including assembly and maintenance.
