Job summary

Whizz in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Bike Mechanic to assemble and service our e-bike fleet. You will work in a fast-paced workshop, ensuring safety and peak performance for delivery riders. Join a growing team accelerating urban mobility and sustainability.

Candidates should have proven experience with electric bikes, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lift heavy objects. Weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bicycle Mechanic, with electric bicycles, including assembly and maintenance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Proven problem-solving abilities
• Availability on weekdays and weekends.
• Bicycle Mechanic certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assemble new e-bikes with precision in our workshop environment
• Diagnose and fix mechanical or electrical issues on the bikes, ensuring optimal performance of our e-bike fleet.
• Maintain our bike fleet through systematic inspections and routine maintenance.
• Perform express bike repairs, prioritizing timely solutions for our delivery drivers.
