E-4B Maintenance Pre-Planning Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level)

Join Boeing as an E-4B Maintenance Pre-Planning Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK. This role focuses on developing, refining, and improving the execution of the E-4B maintenance plan with emphasis on Programed Depot Maintenance (PDM) activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply basic engineering technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques to support product support engineering and analysis, ensuring supportability, sustainability, reliability, maintainability, and operability of products and services throughout their lifecycle.
  • Assist with defining, evaluating and maintaining engineering supportability, maintainability, and operability requirements for products, systems and programs.
  • Support data analysis to produce support, flight operation and maintenance equipment requirements.
  • Assist with engineering changes based on customer requirements and proposed program changes.
  • Support customer meetings planning, researching and developing maintenance requirements and repair solutions that comply with customer, regulatory, safety and company requirements.
  • Assist with providing engineering and on-site technical assistance to customers’ products, including ground support equipment, training devices, training facilities and maintenance facilities.
  • Assist with proposal development.
  • Travel to provide onsite support both at the PDM facility and USAF operational bases.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or a non‑US equivalent qualification directly related to the work statement.
  • 2+ years of experience interpreting engineering drawings, technical publications, service bulletins, and/or component maintenance manuals.
  • 2+ years of maintenance planning documentation experience.
  • 2+ years of experience evaluating maintenance findings and developing recommendations for preventive maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired)

  • 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited institution, preferably with ABET accreditation.
  • Experience with DoD customers.
  • Experience in aircraft sustainment requirements, reliability and maintainability, USAF technical orders or USAF maintenance operations.
  • Experience with aircraft maintenance related project management.
  • Experience with data analysis techniques.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, or PowerPoint.

Benefits and Compensation

Summary pay range Associate (Level 2): $68,000 - $92,000
Summary pay range Mid‑Level (Level 3): $82,450 - $111,550
