Job summary

Specialized Assessment & Consulting is seeking a part-time Dyslexia Teacher to provide targeted instruction to qualifying students in Houston for the 2026-2027 school year. You will work with groups of 4 and 6 students, attending ARD meetings and consulting with school staff to support student progress and ensure compliance with dyslexia programs such as Neuhaus and Orton-Gillingham-based curriculums.

Salary starts at $43 per hour, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• Current TEA Teacher Certification.
• Bachelor's degree from a recognized, accredited college or university.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing dyslexia services to school-aged children.
• Experience using Neuhaus, Reading by Design, Barton, or Orton-Gillingham curriculums.

Responsibilities

This job is in person located inHouston, TX 77008 for the 2026 - 2027 school year.The Dyslexia teacher will be working with 10 students in small groups of 4 and 6. Meeting weekly for 1 hour, 30 minutes for each group. Dyslexia Teacher rates start at $43/hr
