Job summary

The North Little Rock School District is seeking a Dyslexia Interventionist to deliver district-approved dyslexia therapy and intensive reading instruction for K-12 students. Working under the Principal and Dyslexia Specialist, you will monitor progress and adapt interventions to meet eligibility guidelines.

You will collect data, maintain records, and communicate with parents. Training on district programs will be provided, with 190-day schedule and full-time status.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
• Arkansas Standard Teaching License.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
• Experience with dyslexia programs and RTI processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide dyslexia therapy per district guidelines and direct services to eligible students.
• Deliver intensive reading instruction and progress monitoring.
• Collect and analyze data on student progress and outcomes.
• Implement district dyslexia program at campus level in line with policies.
• Maintain student records and report progress to relevant staff and parents.
• Serve on the RTI committee and provide small group intervention.
