Job summary

Influxinfosys is seeking a Dynatrace Consultant for Professional Services. You will configure and optimize the Dynatrace Unified Observability Platform across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments, focusing on SAP observability and MTTR reduction.

You will work independently on defined customer engagements, collaborating with senior architects on complex initiatives and leading enablement workshops and trainings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years in APM/observability or related technical field.
• 1 year hands-on experience implementing Dynatrace or similar platforms.
• Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Customize dashboards, log processing, and metric extraction for SAP landscapes.
• Onboard applications and cloud workloads across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Design and maintain dashboards, alerts, workflows using DQL and Grail.
• Monitor performance and lead root-cause analysis using Davis AI.
• Configure Synthetic Monitoring, RUM, APM, and Log Monitoring.
• Prepare observability health assessments and architecture reviews.
• Integrate Dynatrace with ITSM and platforms like ServiceNow, Jira, Slack.
• Support OpenTelemetry and distributed-tracing across microservices.
• Collaborate with Product teams; lead workshops and training.
• Develop technical documentation, guides, runbooks; mentor juniors.

About the Role

We are looking for a Dynatrace Consultant to join our Professional Services team. In this client- and stakeholder-facing role, you will configure, implement, and optimize the Dynatrace Unified Observability Platform across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.

A key focus of this position is the implementation, configuration, and customization of the SAP observability, helping engineering and operations teams improve application performance, reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR), and establish a mature observability practice.

You will work independently on well-defined customer engagements while collaborating with senior architects on complex observability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Customize and maintain PowerConnect dashboards, log-processing configurations, and metric-extraction rules based on customer SAP landscapes and business processes.
• Onboard applications, infrastructure, and cloud workloads across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including Kubernetes and Docker environments.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom dashboards, alerting profiles, workflows, and analytics using Dynatrace Query Language (DQL) and Grail.
• Monitor application performance and availability and lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis using Davis AI causal insights.
• Configure and optimize Synthetic Monitoring, Real User Monitoring (RUM), Application Performance Monitoring (APM), and Log Monitoring.
• Conduct observability health assessments and architecture reviews and provide actionable recommendations based on industry best practices.
• Integrate Dynatrace with ITSM and collaboration platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Slack.
• Support OpenTelemetry and distributed-tracing initiatives across microservices architectures.
• Collaborate with Product Development and Product Support teams to improve system functionality, reliability, and observability capabilities.
• Lead customer and internal enablement workshops, technical training sessions, and operational review meetings.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, configuration standards, and operational runbooks.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal observability standards, methodologies, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in Application Performance Management (APM), observability, IT infrastructure, or a related technical field.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience implementing and administering Dynatrace or comparable APM/observability platforms.
• Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and modern web application architectures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex performance and availability issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into business impact for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with architects, engineers, customers, and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Dynatrace Certified Associate or Dynatrace Certified Professional certification.
• Prior consulting, client-facing, or project management experience.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Grail, DQL, and Davis AI-driven anomaly detection.
• Experience with SAP environments, including SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, PI/PO, and HANA.
• Experience with PowerConnect or similar SAP-to-observability integration solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Exposure to relational database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
• ITIL Foundation certification or familiarity with IT service management processes
