Job summary

VOLTO Consulting is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics GP Consultant with expertise in upgrading from legacy systems to the latest versions. The role involves planning and executing comprehensive migration strategies, ensuring data integrity, and supporting deployment efforts.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and SQL Server upgrades, along with proven ability to manage complex integration and validation tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (2013 to 18.x versions).
• Proven experience in upgrading GP from legacy versions to latest releases.
• Expertise in SQL Server upgrade/migration (2008 R2 2022).

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute end-to-end upgrade of Microsoft Dynamics GP from legacy to latest version.
• Perform environment assessment, upgrade path planning, and risk analysis.
• Analyze, remediate, and validate custom code, integrations, and third-party add-ons.
• Ensure data integrity, migration, and reconciliation during upgrade.
• Support testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
