Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation (EMD) in Cheswick, PA is seeking a Dynamics Analyst to perform structural dynamic and acoustic analysis of critical function rotating machinery. The role uses FEA tools (ANSYS, MATLAB) to predict dynamic response and guide design decisions.

You will develop tests, interpret data, and compose technical reports for production and customers. The position requires US citizenship, DoD clearance eligibility, a mechanical engineering degree, and at least 5 years in dynamics

Qualifications

• Must have DoD eligibility and US citizenship.
• Minimum 5 years in dynamics or shock analysis.
• Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
• Experience with rotating machinery in defense or power sectors.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural dynamic and acoustic design and simulations using FEA.
• Collaborate with design teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Develop dynamic testing plans including modal and vibration tests.
• Collect data, compare with predictions, and write reports.
• Assist with equipment design and testing facilities for production.
• Prepare technical specifications and cost/schedule considerations.
