MailMigrationSupport LLC seeks an experienced Dynamics 365 Human Resources consultant to lead a mid-market manufacturing/energy client through a full HR implementation, moving from paper time cards and multi-system entry to digital workflows.

The role focuses on configuring D365 HR, translating current processes into rules, loading data, and partnering with a Business Central team for integration, with remote work and occasional on-site/client workshops anticipated.

Competenze

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Human Resources consultant to lead the HR implementation for a mid-market manufacturing/energy-sector client currently running fully manual HR processes (paper time cards, manual multi-system entry). This is the client’s priority track — HR is expected to go live ahead of the client’s Business Central accounting implementation, which is on a separate, coordinated timeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure Dynamics 365 Human Resources: organizational structure, worker/position setup, employee self-service time entry, manager approval workflows, and overtime rules
• Translate the client’s current fully-manual HR processes (paper time cards, multi-system manual entry) into digital workflows and rules within D365 HR
• Load agreed HR data and support functional/UAT validation
• Partner with the Business Central consultant/team on the HR side of the HR and BC integration (employee master data, cost centers/dimensions, payroll-related data flows), using the client’s shared Azure/M365 tenant for identity
• Document that benefits administration remains a manual process (third-party benefits provider has no API; EDI is a possible future enhancement, not near-term scope)
• Produce SOPs and lead administrator knowledge transfer for HR stakeholders
• Collaborate directly with client-side HR and IT stakeholders during discovery and delivery

Required Qualifications

• 3 years hands-on implementation experience with Dynamics 365 Human Resources (or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations HR module)
• Experience configuring self-service time entry, approval workflows, and overtime rules
• Experience migrating organizations from manual/paper-based HR processes into a digital HRIS
• Comfortable working directly with HR stakeholders during discovery and requirements gathering

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, energy, or utility-sector environments
• Experience designing system-to-system integrations (batch or API-based) within the Microsoft ecosystem
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365/Azure tenant architecture and identity management
• Microsoft certification in Dynamics 365 Human Resources

Engagement Details

• Remote with flexibility for occasional client workshops
• Target timeline: HR implementation is the near-term priority, ahead of Business Central’s ~Q1 2027 availability target
• Coordinates with a separate Business Central consultant on integration scope

Location: Remote (occasional on-site/client calls as needed)

Engagement Type: Contract — duration based on project phase (Discovery through Go-Live/Hypercare); potential contract-to-hire
