Job summary

Axon is seeking a Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Architect to design and implement scalable financial solutions within D365 FO, supporting Axon's rapid growth in the US. This hands-on role will drive modernization of financial operations by leveraging ERP capabilities, automation, analytics, and AI-driven insights.

Based in the Boston area, you will partner with finance leadership to optimize processes, manage end-to-end projects, and mentor the team while aligning with Axon’s strategic goals

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and leading finance solutions.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, revenue recognition, and financial consolidations.
• Experience designing and implementing electronic reporting and financial dashboards.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Excellent collaboration with senior finance leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to integrate D365 FO with other ERP and legacy systems.
• Experience evaluating AI-driven capabilities and governance in finance.
• D365 certifications in Finance or related modules are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of financial solutions in D365 FO.
• Partner with finance stakeholders to optimize GL, AP, AR, cash management, and fixed assets.
• Oversee full lifecycle of finance-related projects from requirements to deployment.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, developers, and finance teams.
• Advise leadership on ERP trends, Copilot capabilities, and AI strategy.
• Support audit, reporting, data governance, and security in the system.
• Provide training and mentorship to the functional analysis team.
• Lead initiatives related to mergers and acquisitions finance activities.
• Stay current on D365 Finance, Power Platform, Copilot, and AI technologies.
