Job summary

SPOC Energy is seeking a Cost Analyst at the Corporate Office in Trussville, AL 35173 to translate manufacturing data into actionable financial insights. You will own end-to-end cost accounting, inventory valuation, and gross-margin analysis, working closely with Operations, Purchasing, and Engineering in an ERP-driven environment.

The role requires strong BC (Dynamics 365 Business Central) expertise, ability to trace variances to root causes, and a hands-on approach to budgeting, cost rolls,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Manufacturing/ERP experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical ability with attention to detail.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 BC is preferred.
• CPA, CMA or similar certification valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Finance & Accounting expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC.
• Develop end-to-end understanding of Quote-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay cycles.
• Analyze inventory valuation, movements, turns, and working capital.
• Analyze gross margin by product, family, customer, and project.
• Support month-end close and variance analyses; provide actionable insights.
