Job summary

NIA Community Services Network in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Part-time Teacher/Instructor to plan and lead structured activities in a specified area. You will work with a Group Leader, but lead behavior management and classroom maintenance for your group.

Responsibilities

Report concerns regarding the well being of participants to immediate supervisor in a timely manner.
Ensure proper supervision of assigned participants at all times.
Submit lesson plans for each activity by due date and conduct activities per approved plans.
Include an active role for Group Leader in activity plan and behavior management.
Submit a plan for culminating activity to be showcased at the program event.
Actively assist with activities led by specialists, subcontractors, or colleagues.
Perform daily procedures including transitions, snack periods, and dismissal.
