Job summary

TCC Wireless is hiring a Retail Sales Representative in Belvidere, IL. You will be the link between customers and the T-Mobile brand, delivering friendly service and expert knowledge of devices and plans.

The role emphasizes relationship-building with customers and teamwork with store staff in a fast-paced retail setting. The position offers base pay with commission, and the potential to earn up to $20+ per hour all in, depending on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in retail and/or sales with a strong customer focus.
• Proven ability to meet monthly revenue goals and deliver quality metrics.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides world-class customer service, greeting customers and assessing their needs.
• Drives revenue through acquiring new accounts and optimizing existing ones.
• Builds relationships with customers and coworkers across channels.
• Works with store management on opening/closing and cash handling according to policy.
• Maintains store appearance and back room according to standards.
• Explores customer needs for activations, payments, replacements, upgrades, and accessories.
• Maintains equipment and processes price plan changes and upgrades.
