Qualifications

• Education/experience: HS diploma or GED, or equivalent mix.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Basic math skills and data interpretation.
• Ability to present information in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules, orders to determine items to move or distribute.
• Repair, test and inspect converters entering the department.
• Transfer materials from receiving/production to storage or other areas.
• Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory cycle counts.
• Sort inventory by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fill requisitions and distribute items to production workers.
• Maintain secured storage and accurate inventory counts.
• Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
• Arrange stock parts for assembly by others.
• Use a computer to enter records.
• Drive forklift to transport items between locations.
• Prepare parcels for mailing.
• Maintain inventory records.
