Job summary

Celgard, LLC in Concord, NC is seeking a Warehouse Technician to join the warehouse team. You will handle shipping/receiving in a manufacturing setting, maintain inventory accuracy, and move materials in and around warehouse areas. The role reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and operates on a day shift, Monday-Friday.

Starting pay is $18.50 per hour with overtime at time and a half. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available, with half paid after the first week and the second half after 6 months of

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience in a warehouse environment.
• Straight truck operation preferred.
• Proven ability to operate PIVs safely and efficiently.
• Experience with basic computer skills.
• General knowledge of shipping & receiving principles and guidelines preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
• Team-oriented work experience helpful.
• Lean manufacturing principles experience, especially in warehouse setting preferred.
• Experience with barcode scanning tools.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log inbound materials.
• Process, pick, pack, and ship outbound materials and customer orders.
• Ensure inventory accuracy; participate in cycle counts.
• Load/unload trucks using PIVs and forklifts; pass forklift tests.
• Possess DOT physical and operate a 26' straight truck.
• Band and stretch-wrap materials.
• Locate and disposition materials for manufacturing and shipments.
• Enter transactions into ERP system accurately.
• Inspect shipments for quality standards.
• Prepare bills of lading and shipping lists.
• Coordinate pickups of recyclables.
• Assist in administration and purchasing of materials.
• Follow operator instructions and ensure quality meets standards.
• Collaborate with team; lead meetings when needed.
• Cross-train in inventory management.
• Communicate via phone/email professionally.
• Maintain accurate daily records.
• Support ISO 9000 initiatives and 6S activities.
• Organize warehouse space and maintain cleanliness.
• Train others as needed and manage breaks.
