Job summary

KeHE Distributors is hiring for a full-time Warehouse Associate at our Ellettsville, IN location. The role covers receiving, stowing, picking, packing, and shipping with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

You will operate forklifts and other equipment, build pallets, and ensure inventory integrity in a temperature-controlled environment. Starting pay ranges from $19.70 to $22.10 per hour, with a 2nd shift (Tue–Fri) and a $1.00 shift differential after 6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, day shifts, and overnight schedules.
• At least one year of experience in food distribution or a warehouse environment is preferred.
• At least one year of experience operating powered warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, etc.
• Strong communication skills with internal customers and management, fostering collaboration.
• Ability to follow safe warehouse working practices as instructed, supporting a culture of safety.
• Ability to efficiently work independently while maintaining a commitment to team success.
• Preferred experience using a warehouse management system (WMS) and other systems to track performance.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment and manage inventory to ensure accurate receiving and shipping.
• Receive, stow, pick, pack, and ship orders with a focus on safety and quality.
• Build pallets to meet customer guidelines and maintain production standards.
• Identify and reduce errors, improve efficiency, and participate in continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with team and internal customers to support timely deliveries.
