Job summary

Focus Camera in North Brunswick, NJ, is seeking a Warehouse Order Picker Operator to join our fast-paced distribution team. You will accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners and a warehouse management system, while operating reach trucks and forklifts safely.

The role emphasizes accuracy, quality, and adherence to safety standards, with responsibilities including stock replenishment, loading/unloading, and supporting shipping and receiving to ensure timely order

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, or pallet jacks in a warehouse setting.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking and inventory control.
• Hands-on experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, and warehouse distribution processes.
• Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and basic maintenance tasks is a plus.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards, quality control practices, and heavy lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
• Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping
• Conduct stock picking and inventory replenishment tasks with precision to ensure order accuracy
• Assist in shipping & receiving activities, verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation
• Perform quality control checks during picking and packing to maintain high standards of order accuracy
• Handle materials with care during handling, stocking, and packaging to prevent damage or errors
• Support warehouse supervisor in maintaining organized storage areas and adhering to safety protocols
