Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Peabody, IL to load and unload materials using a hand truck, reach truck, or forklift. You will maintain a clean, safe work environment and compare received loads to manifests.

The role requires operating pallet jacks and forklifts, accurate picking and packing, and attention to OS&D issues. We expect candidates to have high school education, 1 year of warehouse experience preferred, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred - 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load and unload trucks.
• Material handling may include picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting products and other duties.
• Must ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work is completed accurately.
• Identifying and annotating OS&D (overages, shortages, damages).
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklift and pallet jacks.
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.
