Job summary

Baker Distributing Company in Tampa, FL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced wholesale HVAC team. You will pick and verify orders, inspect products, and maintain accurate inventory to ensure on-time deliveries.

Requirements include a HighSchool Diploma or GED (preferred), forklift experience, a valid Driver’s License, and strong English communication. You must be able to multitask and lift up to 50 pounds in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED Preferred
• Warehouse and or forklift experience is desired.
• Appliance lift experience is a plus.
• Must be able to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
• Must possess and maintain a current, valid Driver’s License.
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and understanding English to ensure full compliance with safety standards, training, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pick and verify orders for customers.
• Conduct Quality Inspections to verify/ensure the products being received, picked and shipped are accurate.
• Daily loading and unloading of products in truck for delivery to customers and/or other Sales Centers.
• Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise.
• Prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance.
• Assist management with inventory counts and provide daily upkeep of the Warehouse.
