Job summary

ReaderLink is seeking a warehouse/material handler to support distribution operations in a fast-paced center. You will communicate with internal customers, follow detailed instructions, and use tablets, radios, scanners to process shipments.

The role requires basic math, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to stand 8–10 hours daily while moving goods with pallet jacks. Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• One year general warehouse/material handler experience preferred but not necessary.
• Able to stand and walk 8–10 hours a day; repetitive reaching.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with internal customers and management.
• Follow detailed instructions and maintain attention to detail.
• Operate electronic devices such as tablets, radios, scanners.
• Perform basic math for counting, adding, and subtracting numbers.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and support safety programs.
• Read labels, tickets and other product documentation.
• Proficiently use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF devices and voice-picking.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments.
• Assist at different workstations as production needs require.
• Move products by hand or with pallet jack within the facility.
• Relocate materials to/from loading docks, trucks, storage areas, and order processing areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, near misses, and hazards promptly.
