A leading educational institution in Irvine, Kentucky is seeking dedicated Adjunct Vocational Nursing (VN) Faculty to educate and mentor future vocational nurses. Faculty will engage in a variety of instructional settings and must have current RN or LVN licenses, as well as significant clinical experience. Key responsibilities include delivering instruction, developing teaching methods, and integrating theory into practice while promoting student success. A collaborative academic community with flexible scheduling is offered.

Qualifications

• Current California RN or LVN license required.
• Four years of bedside or clinical nursing experience within the past five years.
• Minimum of one year of acute care experience within the past five years.
• Current BLS / CPR certification required.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical and/or theory instruction using course materials.
• Develop teaching methods that engage students.
• Evaluate student clinical competency.
• Facilitate integration of theory into patient care practice.
• Ensure compliance with clinical agency policies.
