Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Teaching certification recognized by the State of Oklahoma.
• Previous experience with children or in a classroom setting is preferred.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates stated criteria for effective teaching performance.
• Coordinates transportation and facilities for all contests, activities, & fundraising with the principal and Director of Choirs.
• Assists in maintaining the district facilities, inventory - including all music files, uniforms, classroom furniture, equipment and technology.
• Builds positive school-community relations by creating an environment acceptable for representation of the school district and community at-large.
• Completes reports and other school related paperwork within stated timelines.
• Accepts responsibility and is punctual for activities and duties as assigned for the choir department grades 6 - 12.
• Establishes and maintains cooperative relations with co-workers.
• Maintains appropriate emotional control, physical health, and personal appearance.
• Maintains accurate, complete and correct records as required by law, District policy, and administrative regulations.
• Additional duties that may be assigned by immediate supervisor or above.
