Qualifications

• Must be a good role model for players (punctual, prepared, sportsmanship, etc.)
• Preferably played high school baseball, and some college baseball.
• General knowledge of pitching, hitting, and fielding; expertise in pitching preferred.
• Ability to instruct and discipline high school students.
• Previous high school coaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the program within the school's philosophy and the varsity coach.
• Be responsible for all squad members from reporting time to departure.
• Attend all functions by 3:05 p.m. (practice, locker room supervision and games).
• Oversee individual and team conditioning workouts.
• Follow all guidelines and policies set forth by the school and the IHSAA.
• Performs other duties as deemed necessary by the coach and administration.
