Job summary

First Federal Lakewood is seeking an Universal Banker to deliver exceptional frontline customer service and drive sales across branch products. This role supports level 1, 2, and 3 duties, including cash handling, account opening, and cross-selling within our retail banking network.

The Universal Banker will operate teller services, assist with back-office tasks, and maintain compliance with banking laws and internal policies. This position requires flexibility to float to other branches.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years banking experience is required.
• Experience handling cash is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required; Cleartouch, Nautilus, investor portals are preferred.
• Driver's license is required (for float positions)

Responsibilities

• Operates Teller window and maintains cash limits following Branch Operation Guidelines.
• Opens and closes basic accounts; cross-sells products and services; supports higher level bankers as needed.
• Meets individual and branch sales goals; participates in training and keeps up to date with systems and procedures.
• Performs basic opening/closing duties; assists with back-office tasks and safety protocols.
