Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and an active license to practice law in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Screen incoming cases using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of case facts.
• Research and identify precedence in case law.
• Utilize and evaluate electronic legal research and other research tools; prepare cases for trial.
• Write and file appropriate motions.
• Organize work; set priorities; meet deadlines and follow up on assignments.
• Caseload may include district and superior court cases.
