Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Dayton, Washington. The OT will work 40 hours per week with 8-hour days, in a travel capacity, and must hold NBCOT-OTR and BLS certifications.

Requirements include 1 year of experience (6 months may be considered for strong backgrounds), and state licensing. The role involves evaluation, care planning, and documentation in acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.
• 6 months of experience may be accepted for exceptional candidates; 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient condition and develop a plan of care.
• Develop treatment plans and set functional goals.
• Assess home/work environments and advise on adaptations.
• Educate family and employers on care and accommodations.
• Document progress per state/insurer guidelines.
• Provide timely documentation for physicians and payors.
