Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Dallas, Texas. The OT will evaluate and develop plans of care for patients across acute care settings, working with diverse populations and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with applicable guidelines.

Requirements include 6 months of experience (new grads welcome), BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification with state licensing. This is a travel role with a 13-week duration and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a patient's condition and needs.
• Develop a treatment plan for patients, identifying goals and activities to meet those goals.
• Educate patients, families and employers on care and accommodations.
• Provide timely documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
