Saia is seeking a Terminal Operations Manager to oversee freight operations at a local terminal. You will supervise staff, assign duties, and ensure efficient, safe, compliant performance in daily yard and dock activities.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in terminal operations, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation management systems. You will analyze reports, drive profitability, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Read, write, communicate and comprehend English to perform job tasks and reports.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates terminal employee activities to provide effective and efficient operations.
• Investigates and resolves all complaints and discrepancies.
• Interviews and selects candidates and coaches employees.
• Enforces compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Analyzes and reviews financial and operational reports to determine trends and profitability.
• Monitors and improves operational processes to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align and review reporting needs.
