Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; paraprofessional endorsement or equivalent credential.
• Experience working with students with special needs preferred.
• Ability to lift and assist students as required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher and students with daily activities.
• Support student safety and well-being in the classroom.
• Apply behavior management strategies under supervision of the teacher.
• Operate classroom equipment and related assistive technology as needed.
• Collaborate with other staff to support student needs and equity.
