Job summary

Steve & Kate’s Camps in Atlanta seeks energetic team members to supervise campers, lead engaging activities and ensure safety and wellness. The role involves guiding kids through self-directed play, managing spaces, and collaborating with others to deliver diverse experiences.

Applicants should be 16+, have 2+ months of camp experience, and hold First Aid & CPR certification before Day 1. Chaperone duties on field trips may be required. This is an in-person, daytime camp position.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-aged children; 1 year preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 (some locations may require additional certifications).

• You may be asked to chaperone campers on off-site field trips where location demands.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate activities, make connections, and monitor safety and wellness.
• Create and/or oversee activity spaces where campers self-select; work in rotating support roles.
• Support activities including sewing, stop-motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts, lounging, and recreation.
• Actively supervise campers and maintain organized, approachable spaces.
• Ensure compliance with Camp Policies; report notable concerns or injuries; track camper allergies and dietary restrictions.
