The Principia Corporation is seeking a Substitute Teacher to join its team in St. Louis, MO. This role involves supervising students and following lesson plans provided by the lead teacher, as well as acting as a classroom teacher in the absence of the lead teacher.

Qualifications

• Active (or pending) membership in The First Church of Christ, Scientist.
• Christian Science class instruction preferred but not required.
• Ability to supervise students and present lesson plans.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students and present lesson plans prepared by lead teacher.
• Act as classroom teacher if lead teacher is away.
• Work individually and in small groups with students.

Skills

Ability to work well with children and adults

Classroom experience

Willingness to turn readily to God for guidance

Education

Bachelor's degree (education degree or certification preferred)
