Job summary

Responsibilities include reporting to the building principal, reviewing daily plans, upholding routines, supervising students, and completing the daily substitute packet with accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, two years of college preferred.
• Experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Report to the building principal and/or team leader upon arrival.
• Review plans and schedules with the principal or team leader.
• Maintain established routines and procedures of the school and classroom.
• Teach the lesson outlined in the substitute plans.
• Oversee pupil behavior in class, between classes and during lunch and recess periods as required.
• Complete form provided in the substitute packet to report on the day’s activities.
• Follow all policies, rules, and procedures that regular teachers are expected to follow.
