Aufgaben

• Report to the building principal or school secretary upon arrival at the school building.
• Review with the principal, department head, or team leader all plans and schedules to be followed during the teaching day.
• Maintain the established routines and procedures of the school and assigned classroom.
• Teach the lesson outlined and described in a lesson plan book prepared by the absent teacher.
• Consult with the building principal, department head, or team leader before initiating any teaching or other procedures not specified in the absent teacher’s lesson plan.
• Assume responsibility for overseeing pupil behavior in class and during lunch and recess periods.
• Report to the absent teacher in writing any notes regarding assignments made and comments regarding student behavior.
• Follow all policies, rules, and procedures to which regular teachers are subject and which good teaching practice dictates.
• Carry out other professional responsibilities including punctuality, reliability, care of equipment and materials, planning, communication, confidentiality, and following district and school policies.
• Ability to use technology for a variety of purposes, including supporting instruction, accessing and manipulating data, professional growth and productivity, communicating and collaborating with colleagues, parents and the community, and conducting research/solving problems. Proficiency in technology skills must be demonstrated based on the performance criteria set out in the KDE teacher standards for technology.
• Strict adherence to the Policies and Procedures of the Boyle County Board of Education, the Employee Handbook, Code of Ethics for Certified School Personnel and Kentucky Revised Statutes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
