Job summary

As a Substitute Administrator you may cover elementary to high school campuses, attend evening events, and support instructional leadership while maintaining district procedures and safe, equitable learning environments.

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Administrator License (TSPC) required or anticipated.
• Master degree preferred and relevant credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational, technical, and school activities in the absence of the administrator.
• Ensure compliance with SPS procedures, policies and state and federal requirements.
• Supervise or delegate all school operations as appropriate, including daily activities.
• Support professional educators to strengthen instructional practices and student achievement.
• Foster a culture of high expectations and equitable access to quality instruction for all students.
• Create a learning community that supports staff and students' growth and success.
• Promote a safe, welcoming climate and effective communication with students, staff and families.
