Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (liberal arts, social science, arts & humanities, science, education, business, public administration or related)
• Current nationally-recognized group fitness or personal training certification (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM)
• Minimum 6 months of teaching or training experience
• Current CPR/AED certification

Responsibilities

• Teaches fitness conditioning classes (strength, circuit, HIIT, functional fitness) for all levels with emphasis on technique, safety, and progression
• Designs and delivers dynamic workouts to improve strength, endurance, flexibility, and overall fitness
• Ensures safety and welfare of participants in each class
• Maintains attendance records and reports incidents to the Operations Coordinator
• Sets up, inspects, and stores fitness equipment before and after sessions
• Promotes fitness and wellness programs through outreach and marketing
• Responds to emergencies following safety procedures
• Attends staff meetings and training sessions
• Performs other duties as assigned
