Job summary

Lidl US is hiring Store Associates to keep our stores running smoothly, delivering friendly, efficient service across checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and weekly promotional setups. You’ll work in a structured, team-based environment with clear efficiency standards and a fast pace.

Your role requires ownership, quick learning across multiple areas, and strong communication. You’ll contribute to safe, high-quality store operations and an excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
• Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. and reach above head height frequently.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers with friendly, efficient service that makes their trip easy.
• Seamlessly transition between checkout, stocking, and specialized areas like bakery or produce.
• Meet productivity goals by working with urgency and following Lidl’s processes.
• Execute daily freshness checks in produce and chilled areas.
• Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers.
• Keep the store clean across sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
• Create a smooth checkout experience by operating the register quickly and accurately.
• Handle customer inquiries, process returns, and resolve issues.
• Help keep inventory accurate and stock-loss low by following controls.
• Ensure a safe environment by following safety procedures.
• Work with the team to complete daily tasks for the next shift.
