Job summary

Advocate Health in Winston-Salem is seeking a Staff Pharmacist Float for our Community Pharmacy network. This full-time position requires travel between multiple sites and entails a 40-hour workweek with first-shift hours; weekend rotation and holidays apply. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

You will oversee pharmaceutical care, counsel patients, and collaborate with the health care team to ensure safe, effective medication use and formulary adherence across locations.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree from ACPE-accredited school or NABP FPGEC.
• Licensed or eligible for reciprocity in state of practice.
• Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certification required where applicable.
• Credentialing and privileging required based on practice area.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care and designs medication therapy regimens.
• Counsels patients and caregivers on therapy, effects, and safety.
• Reviews and interprets medication orders and prescriptions.
• Supports medication safety and quality improvement activities.
• Precepts pharmacy students and mentors teammates.
• Ensures compliance with policies and regulations.
